General Rental Questions

Below is a selection of common questions we receive from Mobility Hire customers.

Yes we do! At Mobility Hire we offer Free Next Working Day Delivery and we can dispatch most products nationwide by courier including Wheelchairs, Knee Walkers, Rollators, Tri-Walkers & Access Ramps.

Products we can not ship by courier are Mobility Scooters, Electric Beds and Riser Recliners. These require engineered delivery.

We can also provide same day delivery in the Dublin area if ordered before 11am.

For standard products covered under our nationwide DPD next day courier service the charge is FREE. There are no hidden costs on our rentals.

Products excluded from the standard courier service that requires an engineer to deliver such as, Electric Beds, Riser Recliners and Mobility Scooters. The standard once off charge is included in the rental price. Installations outside Dublin the rates vary depending on distance. These standard prices start from €100  as they require an engineer to install and demonstrate. Contact our office for more details.

Yes you can! We welcome collections from our head office in Tallaght, Dublin 24 & our collection point in Dublin 1.

Yes we regularly refresh our rental fleet and sell on our rental assets. Please contact the office for pricing and details.

For security reasons, all payments must be made by card.
In very exceptional cases we may offer payment on delivery via cash with a deposit and once we have received Photo ID and Proof Of Address documents.

There are several variations for deliveries depending on location and product rented.

Dublin Delivery – If the product is being sent by courier, we will not be able to provide a time as the courier is a third party service. But for large items or urgent deliveries we will deliver ourselves. Our driver will in this case confirm a time before coming over to you.

Nationwide Courier Delivery – Any rentals outside Dublin would be sent via a third party courier service. We cannot directly provide a time for delivery, however your booking will be updated with a tracking number at the start of your delivery date.

We are happy to discuss all our customers needs. If you require a product or products over a longer period than is available on our rental booking system please contact our office and we can provide the best pricing and other options for you.

There is no assembly required for our wheelchairs. All our wheelchairs fold easily in one piece for transportation and storage.
